French Clays

The uses of Natural Clays are abundant, ranging from medicinal and odorous to cosmetic. Its many forms include facial masks, mineral cleansers, body powders, body scrubs, body wraps, soaps, lotions, creams, cream-based cleansers, makeup, and bath salts.

1. Clay Mask Recipe

Add  one tablespoon  of natural clay
Add one tablespoon of rosewater
Add it in small amounts until you reach the desired consistency
Mix the recipe

TIP: Remember, to let it sit for 15-20 minutes.

2. Clean your skin

It’s a good idea to remove excess oil and buildup from your skin before you apply a clay mask. It will also make the clay mask adhere to your skin easier. Wash and dry your skin.

TIP: Remember, you can also do a steam clean, steam is a great way to open your pores.

3. Apply Clay Mask

Gently apply the clay to your face and avoid your eyes and mouth. Let it sit for 20-25 minutes then gently remove with warm water.

TIP: Remeber, it’s advisable that you only use clay masks once a week because it can dry out the skin.
